Mistakes

While watching anime you will undoubtedly come across mistakes that the animators make. Whether it's forgetting to add objects that were in the previous frame, forgetting to color something, or just character design mistakes, it happens. Considering how hard animators have to work, it's hard to fault them for making these errors but it doesn't make it any less funny. Today I'm going to just show some screenshots I found while I was watching anime.

The first string of images comes from episode 5 of Unlimited Fafnir. So in this scene, the pink haired girl is trying to apologize to everyone so the blonde haired girl, Lisa, gives her a "punishment" which is just a flick on the head. Disregarding the size of the fist to her head, you might notice that in the last image, her hair and bow have completely changed color. Now, you might say oh well that's because it's the silver haired girl, Iris. But it's not supposed to be because the person talking during the entire scene is Lisa, not Iris. So if it was Lisa talking, it'd either just be really poor cinematography or a mistake. Also, Iris is behind Lisa, so that'd make absolutely no sense.

Her fist is huge compared to her head

Bow and hair color are completely different
Iris is behind Lisa
The last one for today is from last season's Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete. This is pretty obvious and doesn't really need much explanation. In one frame she's wearing a blue dress, the next she's wearing a yellow. It reminds me of the scene in Kung Pow where Master Pain "changes" his suboordinate's clothe's color.

"Whoa! Yui?!" indeed
